This programme covers 1,550 girls through 47 learning centers in three blocks of Mirzapur district, namely Chhanbe Bigha, Pahari and Halia. This is being implemented with the support of the IImpact, Gurugram, Haryana.

The following services are being provided to the girl child through the learning centres:

• 1,550 girls in the age group 6 to 14 years being provided education to improve learning level and reduce dropout through 47 learning centres
• Girls being provided support of teaching learning material and textbook
• 47 teachers being supported in teaching skills through quarterly teachers training
• Monthly CMC meetings being organised with parents to support learning centre
• Joro gyan kits (associate with knowledge kits) and electronics tablets being provided to support interesting learning
• National days like 15 August, 26 January, Children’s Day, etc., being celebrated
• Sports and games material being provided to increase child learning
• Health and hygiene kits being provided to all children
• Food kits being provided to needy and poor families
