Under the disabled children programme, community-based rehabilitation is being provided to 45 children from poorest families in 12 villages of Naugarh block of Chandauli district. Sponsored by Jan Vikas Samiti, this programme provides the following services to the children, their families and communities:

• Special education to 25 disabled children at Manav Sewa Kendra Community Based Rehabilitation Centre
• Physiotherapy services to the neediest 10 children at MSK Physiotherapy Centre
• Educational material, teaching learning material and school uniform to all 45 children
• Need assessment camp organised and artificial appliances given as per need
• Disabled day celebration, capacity building of parents and social enabling environment through workshop, newspaper and media coverage
• Linkage with the government department for providing certificate and other government services
